Thats game. Bolton 5-1 Newcastle. K. Davies - 18', 91'; Lee Chung-Yong - 39'; J. Elmander - 50', 72'. A. Carroll - 52'; Coloccini - Red 76'
Man of the Match: Johan Elmander (Bolton)
Krul chose his direction correctly but couldnt get all the way to the ball. This game has been entertaining to say the least.
Awful call from the AR, Enrique gets all ball. Kevin Davies gets a brace via penalties. Bolton 5-1 Newcastle
NUFC gives away another penalty in the 90'. Jose Enrique gets booked for a yellow.
Bolton's supporters "ole"-ing their team on as this match draws to a close. 4 mins of added time.
Only thing between Elmander's hat trick is Tim Krul, who steps up and makes a great save in the 89'
Scratch that. Real Madrid academy, not FC Barce. My bad again!
Fantastic game by Lee, 1 goal in the 39'. Rodrigo is one of 2 FC Barce academy players
Bolton Sub: Rodrigo for Lee Chung-Yong 87'
Corner from Routledge went straight to Williamson but he sends it over the bar.
Another good attacking position from NUFC, but Bolton has defended it away for a corner
FYI: Lovenkrands must have come in for Ameobi, missed that sub. My bad!
Lovenkrands had fantastic opportunity, but excellent keeping from Jaaskelainen
Bolton 4-1 Newcastle
we're in the 81' for Newcastle v. Bolton
Bolton Sub: Johan Elmander (ST) for Ivan Klasnic
Carroll goes down in the box after a great cross from Campbell.
Carroll shot on goal, goes off crossbar. Couldve really used that.
Bolton Sub: Martin Petrov for Matt Taylor (LM)
NUFC Sub: Sol Campbell (CB) for Jonas Gutierrez (LM). Clearly trying to keep damage to a minimum.
Oh crap. Scratch all of that. Just saw the replay and Colocinni took his elbow to Elmander's face. Great call AR.
Wholeheartedly disagree with this call. Elmander on the side of the box goes down and Colocinni gets sent off. Absolute BS
quick free kick by Newcastle after a foul
Goal Attempts: Bolton 16-3 Newcastle
not a bad header from Carroll but it goes over the bar
Ermander has the key to the NUFC defense and scores his second of the match. Poor, poor defending by Colocinni and bad keeping from Krul
NUFC Sub: Routledge (RB) for Guthrie (RB)
From around the league: Arsenal 2-3 Tottenham FT; Birmingham 1-0 Chelsea 70'; Blackpool 2-0 Wolves 72'; Man U 1-0 Wigan 70'; WBA 0-1 Stoke
Carroll comes off the field, looks fine though. Maybe aggravated that groin injury hes been fighting all week
so many shots from Bolton. This is when I wish S. Harper would get healthy and back between the pipes for @NUFCOfficial
great save by Krul, Newcastle on the counterattack, corner for NUFC
emotions flaring up between newcastle back line and Bolton players. referee trying to keep control of match
Bolton has had some of the best passing and dribbling in the box ive seen all season. Reminds me of a FIFA 2010 match against Will
Elmander gets behind most of the NUFC backline, however Colocinni gets in front of him and blocks a shot
Nolan booked near NUFCs box for knocking over Cahill. Free kick Bolton, another scoring opportunity. into the wall though
beautiful cross by Gutierrez into the box, both Nolan and Carroll go up for it but can't connect. Surely wouldve been in the back of the net
Cahill pulls some fancy 5-star skill moves and take a shot from distance, but it goes wide across.
CARROLL GOAL!!! Newcastle responds almost immediately to make it 3-1 Bolton
fantastic move by Elmander for Bolton, lead Newcastle 3-0 in the 50'
